Visiting a new church can feel intimidating. You may be wondering what to wear, where to park, what happens during worship, or whether you’ll fit in. At Trinity Episcopal Church, we want you to know that you are welcome just as you are.
What Is Worship Like?
Our Sunday worship follows a traditional Episcopal service rooted in scripture, prayer, music, and Holy Communion. While our worship is grounded in ancient Christian traditions, you do not need to know anything about the Episcopal Church to participate.
Everything you need to follow along is provided, and our congregation is always happy to help answer questions.
What Should I Wear?
Come as you are.
Some people dress up for church, while others come in jeans and a polo shirt. You’ll see a variety of styles on Sunday morning. We care more about meeting you than what you’re wearing.
How Long Is the Service?
Our Sunday service typically lasts about one hour.
After worship, many people stay for fellowship, conversation, and refreshments. We’d love for you to join us.
What About Children?
Children are an important part of our church family.
Children are welcome in worship, and we understand that little ones may wiggle, make noise, or need a break. We believe that children belong in God’s house and are a blessing to our congregation.

Holy Communion
All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Communion.
If you prefer not to receive Communion, you are welcome to come forward for a blessing or remain in your seat. No one will judge your decision.
Parking and Accessibility
Parking is available on-site, and our facilities are accessible for those with mobility needs.
If you need assistance, simply let one of our greeters know when you arrive.
Becoming a Church Member
The Episcopal Church has been called “the bridge church,” for we honor our Protestant and Catholic heritage, as well as contemporary thought. There are three guides or sources of authority for our faith:
- Scripture refers to the Holy Bible, which infuses our study, worship, and corporate life;
- Reason refers to our God-given ability to use our minds and to grow in understanding of God’s world and God’s ways; and
- Tradition refers to how others in the past have experienced God and celebrated their life together.
In addition to the Bible, our basic theological document is the Book of Common Prayer, which has formed Anglican thought and practice in its several editions since 1549. We are deeply sacramental, believing that Baptism of children or adults is the door into the church, that the Holy Eucharist is the central act of worship, and that other sacramental actions mediate the grace of God in our lives.
Activities and worship at Trinity Church are open to everyone, regardless of formal membership. If you would like to be placed on the parish mailing list, simply contact us and we would be happy to add you to the list. We also encourage you to return to our site often to receive the latest news regarding our parish.
Membership to our church is open to everyone. We encourage you to visit one of our Sunday services at 9:30, meet our parish members as well as participate in our parish activities. If you’re interested in a sense of family, worshiping God, and helping people in need, we’re certain that you’ll like what you see at Trinity.
