Serving Our Community with Compassion
Trinity Episcopal Church is proud to partner with Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center to serve meals at the Day Resource Center on Guilford Road every other month. The Day Resource Center provides essential services for individuals and families in Howard County who are unhoused or struggling to make ends meet.
Each time we serve, Trinity members generously prepare food and provide funds to offer a hot meal for about 60 guests. A team of volunteers delivers the meal, serves our neighbors, and stays to help clean up. Beyond a nourishing meal, Day Resource Center guests have access to showers, laundry facilities, computers for job searches and email, nonperishable food, clothing, and professional counseling to connect them with housing and other resources.
Grassroots also operates an emergency family shelter and provides suicide prevention and addiction services at other locations throughout Howard County.
